| 2010: | Varta Guide For the third time in succession, the Atrium Hotel Mainz has received the Varta tip, a distinction awarded exclusively in the Varta guide for exceptional hotels and restaurants that distinguish themselves over and beyond the normal measure in terms of ambience, hospitality or quality cuisine. Among the 20,000 tested hotels, only a select few receive this award. Varta tip for ambience: "Private hotel managed by the owner with an ambience of wellbeing and outstanding hospitality. The personal atmosphere found in all areas gives the hotel a unique touch. The design and comfort of the rooms is convincing." The restaurant Andante is also described in the Varta guide as having very good cuisine and friendly service in a sophisticated setting. |
